This is an example of a monkey weblog entry. I added it as a place-holder, so the page wouldn't be blank. You too can be a Gypsy Monkey and post to the weblog.
Here is an example of "more", or extended text. The link to this page will only be displayed if your entry contains "extended" information. How your information gets displayed is determined in the the control panel templates, and by setting preferences.
This is an example of a comment.
Bla, bla, bla.... Yeah, I posted a reply to my own post. Lame.
Yadda, yadda, yadda....
yo ... I am doing a music thing with
the wilson monkey shall I keep the monkeys informed?
Oh yes - do! This blog and the forum have been opened for all monkeys. I might even change the default template and make it all banana-y. Or something.
Get this - I've got modifications to the application underway that will make the blog post of music show up in iTunes. That's right; syndication. It'll be running sometime after March, but we can play with this blog now.
O.K. then I met a guy (probably the best bass player I have ever met) Adrian Gomese he wil be joining us Mark, Danny and my self for music soon
Aaaahhhh! Most bodacious!
I was considering giving registered monkeys the link to this blog's control panel so that they can post a new topic here, too.
Think I'll wait until the podcast feature is ready. It changes the control panel a little so that music files can be tagged when uploading.
What have you got to do MP3 encoding? I've found that 60kps, 30KHz, mono sounds alright and makes for smaller files (a good thing). Keep in mind that non-compressed audio files might not be able to be uploaded via the control panel. I think the max file size it can handle is less than 8MB.
well I use wave lab by stienberg
I can encode mp3 most any way I want
Station!
" Station!" I am not sure what that means please illuminate me
My credos originate form the source of monkeyness - the Bill and Ted proclimation of, "Be excellent to each other!"
As such, in the sequel to their excellent adventure, named bogus journey, they did travel to another plane of existance where they met Death and various ideas; one of them being a strange pair of creatures from Mars.
Now this odd pair were not very wordy, and in fact spoke only one thing recognizable as a human sound: Station! Only when the two creatures merged into a single, giant creature (out of need to apply their alien science to build a larger project - two good robot Bill and Teds to combat the evil robot Bill and Teds) did Bill and Ted realize that Station is not their, or it's, name: it is an exclamation, such as "cool" or "rad" but with more of a technology slant.
This realization came at the same time that the Martian(s) realized humans were using their/its name as an exclamation of approval, and so started to do so themselves/itself.
